So...you want to change your schedule?
Schedule change requests are possible in the late spring (for next year's classes) and through the second full week of the fall semester. The below videos will highlight how to check your schedule using Aeries AND how to request changes if desired. Please be sure to view the video and follow the process or your request may be denied.
Note: on the YouTube video below - we are not using a Google Form in 22-23, but we do have digital PDF that you can fill out and return - linked above and also below the videos.

What happens if I didn't enter my course requests in the window?
Your school counselor will assign classes based on your grade level, performance, and best guesses in terms of interest. You will be able to request schedule changes once your schedule is released in May based on availability of space in the courses you'd like.
I failed a class - what should I do?
It depends on what class and if you failed both semesters or not. If you failed only one term and got a C or better in the other - you will likely be best off completing APEX Credit Recovery. If you failed a term and got a D in the other - you may be better off repeating the course (if possible) in the following year if required. If you got 2 F's - you are likely best off repeating the course next year if the course is a requirement. Please ask your school counselor if you have a question related to this and we can give you an individual answer.
Should I take AP or College Prep (Aka Regular)?
Please see this video: https://youtu.be/0rrHmV8vlBU
Should I take a class through independent study (online/Coldstream/Sierra College)?
Please see this video: youtu.be/UghN53x6qv4
Please also note that Coldstream requests happen later in the spring and we will make announcements about the process.

The course request window closed but I changed my mind about a class - what next?
Contact your school counselor and we will discuss options. It depends on where we are at in the scheduling cycle - the earlier you figure this out, the better. Once the school year starts - you will be subject to the NTHS add/drop policy below.

Pre-enrollment for new students is started via the online Aeries enrollment process. Once students who have completed the pre-enrollment process, they will be provided a specific link to book your initial counseling meeting.
Click the Registrar's Information button below to begin the process.
If you have questions prior to completing the enrollment process - feel free to email the appropriate school counselor for the student's grade. We will respond as soon as we are able. We are not able to meet individually to answer prospective questions at this time. We will be cancelling appointments made for non-active NTHS students and those not having completed the enrollment process. We only schedule classes once a student has been fully enrolled.
Our registrar, Blanca Carrillo, will work with you on enrollment and provide a specific link that you must use to set your enrollment meeting with your school counselor. This informs us that you have completed the process.
All enrollment meetings will be held virtually.
Please see our school and district sites regarding the current status of the office with regard to COVID-19 precautions.
