AP Classroom, Test Registration, Costs and Payments
Please note that payments will not be activated until January 2024!
Simple Process to Pay for your AP Exams:
Please follow these steps in order to make sure you are not under or overpaying for tests and to help ensure the process is successful.
1. Verify # of ExamsStudents should log in to their MyAP Classroom (link below) and verify the correct number of exams they are registered for. This may be different than the # of classes they are enrolled in. All students must do this.
|
2. Login to Parent Aeries AccountTitan is not available to students - you must log in via a Parent Aeries account to be able to pay for AP Exams. Please have a credit card or debit card ready as this is required when checking out.
|
3. Add the # of exams from step 1 on TitanThe correct number of exams will need to be added at this step. This should match the number of exams registered for in step 1.
Fee amounts will be automatically calculated by the latest data TTUSD has on your family qualifying for the reduced pricing. Important note: paying for more exams than you registered for will NOT sign you up for that exam. It will just make more work having to process refunds. Please help us help you by checking with your child when paying to make sure your payment is accurate. |
Exam Costs (per test)
As in prior years, TTUSD wants to support students in taking the AP exams they feel prepared for. As such, the district has decided to offset some of the costs of taking AP exams. The normal price of $96 per exam will be subsidized as shown below.
Non-Fee Reduced: $50/exam
Fee Reduced (students on free or reduced lunch program): $20/exam
To receive the reduced fee - you must complete the TTUSD Free or Reduced Lunch program application at least 48 hours before paying for Titan to reflect any reduced price. The TTUSD application is available here.
Payment Process
AP exams will be paid electronically via the Aeries Titan program later this year. This is the same way many of you paid for your Chromebook insurance. The correct fee is already applied to your account. You simply need to add the correct number of exams you are taking. Please verify on the students AP Classroom page prior to payment. Please do not pay for these exams until your student has fully registered for the exams they know they will take.

Cancelling an Exam
After Nov. 13th - any cancelled exam is subject to a $40 cancellation fee assessed by The College Board. This also applies to no show exams in May. If you have paid for your exam already - refunds can be issued for payments over that amount until March 1st. After March 1st, any cancelled or non-taken exam will not receive a refund. If payment is not received for your exam - you will be billed for the cancellation fee. This applies to those who also qualify for the reduced fee.
Please note: we do not offer late/alternative/make-up exams. We also do not test students who do not attend North Tahoe HS.
