Introduction
Welcome! You landed here so you must be interested in course requests for the upcoming school year. We've crafted a "create your own adventure-esque" process that will guide each of you through this year's steps to complete your requests on your Aeries portal. It starts with picking your correct graduation year below and then following five simple, but important steps. Each link is specific to your graduation year - so please ensure you have that correct.
Our scheduling materials are provided 100% online this year (but there is a PDF you can print out linked below if paper is more your jam). This lets us save some trees and allows easy updating of content should things change over the course of the spring. Your school counselor will review your requests against your past performance, graduation and post-grad plan and credit requirements and may reach out with suggestions - so please pay close attention to your email inbox. A reminder - this is a request process - you are not building your final schedule. We do our best to try to get you all that you desire, but it isn't always possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we craft our student-centered schedule.

What happens if I didn't enter my course requests in the window?
Your school counselor will assign classes based on your grade level, performance, and best guesses in terms of interest. You will be able to request schedule changes once your tentative schedule is released in May based on availability of space in the courses you'd like.
I failed a class - what should I do?
It depends on what class and if you failed both semesters or not. If you failed only one term and got a C or better in the other - you will likely be best off completing Edgenuity Credit Recovery. If you failed a term and got a D in the other - you may be better off repeating the course (if possible) in the following year if required. If you got 2 F's - you are likely best off repeating the course next year if the course is a requirement. Please ask your school counselor if you have a question related to this and we can give you an individual answer.
Should I take AP or College Prep (Aka Regular)?
Please see this video: https://youtu.be/0rrHmV8vlBU
Should I take a class through independent study (online/Coldstream/Sierra College)?
Please see this video: youtu.be/UghN53x6qv4
Please also note that Coldstream requests happen later in the spring and we will make announcements about the process. Coldstream single subject requests are open to 11th and 12th grade students at NTHS.

The course request window closed but I changed my mind about a class - what next?
After the course request window - you will need to wait until schedules are released and go through the course change request process. Once the school year starts - you will be subject to the NTHS add/drop policy below.
Pre-enrollment for new students is started via the online Aeries enrollment process. Once students who have completed the pre-enrollment process, they will be provided a specific link to book your initial counseling meeting. Be sure you are selecting the correct academic year (if you are pre-enrolling for a future year - this is particularly important). The next school year typically is available around February each spring.
Note that you may complete the online Aeries pre-enrollment form starting in early spring, but non-TTUSD students will not be able to move forward with creating a class schedule until late spring when our schedule is finalized. The expected time frame is around Mid-May to Mid-June begin new enrollment meetings with students and families, but it will likely last into our last workdays of June and then again upon our return in August. May and June are busy times for our current students (including our seniors) and we have to prioritize the needs of students at our school at this time. Patience is appreciated and we will work on getting to our new enrollment meetings as soon as we are able.
Click the Registrar's Information button below to begin the process.
If you have questions prior to completing the enrollment process - feel free to email the appropriate school counselor for the student's grade. We will respond as soon as we are able. We are not able to meet individually to answer prospective questions at this time. We will be cancelling appointments made for non-active NTHS students and those not having completed the enrollment process.
Our registrar, Blanca Carrillo, will work with you on enrollment and provide a specific link that you must use to set your enrollment meeting with your school counselor. This informs us that you have completed the process.
