Summer credit remediation will be available in person this year for several subjects.
We will be offering summer programming from 6/28- 7/30, Mon- Thurs from 9-12. ( Mon. 7/5 is a holiday). The deadline for registration is Wed. 6/16. We anticipate having all levels of English and Math at ACMS and KBE. We will offer Biology at KBE and World History at ACMS. If students need additional courses, Ind. Study for those courses through Edgenuity with weekly check-ins will likely be available. We anticipate students should be able to remediate up to two semesters during this time.
If students work hard and complete their remediation early - they will be able to be dismissed from summer school early. See contracts and other details below (for qualifications and details.

Summer School Dates and Times:
- July 6 is the first day of summer school
- July 6 - August 2 = Summer school dates
- Monday-Thursday ( except for the first Friday) 9am-12noon.
- 7/6, 7/7, 7/8, 7/11, 7/12, 7/13, 7/14, 7/18, 7/19, 7/20, 7/21, 7/25, 7/26, 7/27, 7/28, 8/1, 8/2
- Students will be able to finish and complete classes up until August 5 but they do not have to attend 8/3, 8/4 or 8/5
- Meals: THS = snack between 10+11am will be delivered. KB = TBA

Did you or your student fail a class or semester of a course? Did you get a D and that is getting in the way of your college applications? There are some solutions to help you out!
Edgenuity and NTHS provide credit remediation for students that are in need of repeating a course. The packet is available below in PDF format or in paper format outside of Mr. Ream's office door. Please read all of the particulars of the program. A few notes to highlight:
- Only grades of D or F may be remediated up to a grade of C. Students will not be able to earn higher than a C for a remediated course.
- Depending on the course and if it is a full year needing remediation - it may be possible (or required) to remediate by taking the course over at NTHS. Please see your school counselor for more details and advising.
- The original grade of D or F is NOT removed from the transcript - but it is marked as repeated and the original mark is not used in calculating the GPA if successfully remediated.
- Remediation cannot be used for original credit. It must be for a class that has a D or F on a student's transcript.
- Not all subject areas are available for Edgenuity remediation.
